Today’s Evapotranspiration (ET) Forecast

  • Apr 9, 2025
  • 1 min read

– Up-to-date moisture loss data to aid in irrigation management.

→This page provides an Evapotranspiration (ET) forecast to help manage water needs on the golf course. Use the color guide to identify areas experiencing high or low ET.

 Here's how to read it:

Color Legend

  • The color gradient represents ET values, from low to high:

    • 🔵 Blue (0mm) → Lowest ET (minimal water loss)

    • 🟢 Green (~4mm) → Moderate ET

    • 🔴 Red (8mm) → Highest ET (significant water loss)

ET Data Overlays

→ Compare high and low ET areas to adjust irrigation efficiently.

  • Each numbered overlay represents Evapotranspiration values for that green:

    • Larger number = Maximum ET value for the green

    • Smaller number = Minimum ET value for the green

Appreciating this informative post. The evapotranspiration (ET) forecast provides a useful way to understand how water movement, climate conditions, and environmental factors interact in agricultural and land management planning. It helps readers see how data-driven forecasting can support more efficient resource use and better decision-making. This topic also connects well with ideas explored in a managerial economics seminar & course in Copenhagen, Denmark, where professionals focus on applying analytical tools, forecasting methods, and economic principles to real-world operational and environmental challenges.
